Hey church family,

I've offically jumped into "cyber-pastoring."  Although I'm not a big fan of the surface connection that these medium bring, I don't want to neglect any opportunity I may have to connect with those that prefer a less invasive type of communication.

The Lord has really abeen challenging me lately on the truth that we must die to ourselves as disciples of Christ.  Talk about invasive...this attacks every area of my life.  Dead men have no life!!  Sunday I will be discussing some strategies that can help us as we attempt to live the live that Jesus exemplified for us.

Many of us have numerous problems that hold us back in our walk and relationship with Jesus.  Most all of these things can been traced back to the root of "focus on self."  This is not unusual.  the truth is, we are stuck with ourselves...we can't get away from ourselves.  Fortunately the Lord knew we would struggle with this problem and has outlined the solution in His Word.
